Because Phoenix Veterinary Service is an independently owned, locally operated practice, you will work directly with the same veterinarian throughout the process. There are no corporate policies, production quotas, or rotating providers—just personalized, compassionate care focused entirely on your pet's needs and your family's wishes. As a single-doctor practice, we are able to provide a level of continuity, flexibility, and personal attention that larger organizations often cannot.

We recognize that circumstances can change unexpectedly, and we strive to accommodate same-day appointments whenever possible, though availability may vary.

Our euthanasia service includes a brief examination, gentle sedation to ensure your pet's comfort, and a peaceful intravenous injection to facilitate a calm transition. Aftercare options are also available for an additional fee, and details can be found here.

Home pick-up services offer unparalleled convenience, but they tend to be pricier. If you opt for cremation services where you transport your pet, you'll find a more cost-effective choice.

Generally, cremations without returning ashes falls on the lower end (around $200). On the other hand, private cremations where you receive your pet's ashes in an urn are the premium choice, around $350.

For those considering home burial, it's worth noting that while it doesn't come with a monetary cost, local regulations may apply. Please check with your local government for any restrictions.
